The Tourism and Travel Mediation (MTV) was created on July 18, 2011. It is operational since January 1, 2012 and has been evaluated by the Commission of Control and Evaluation of Consumer Mediation (CECMC) and included in January 2016 in the first list of sectoral French mediations of reference transmitted to the European Commission.

The Mediation of Tourism and Travel aims to promote the alternative solution of unresolved disputes between consumers and providers of travel services (tourism, transportation, accommodation, airport support …) or leisure (amusement parks , ticketing show or sports …), signatories of the Charter of the Mediation of Tourism and Travel. Independent and impartial, the Mediator of Tourism and Travel, Mr. Jean-Pierre Teyssier, is responsible for bringing together the points of view to pave the way for an alternative solution and thus avoid resorting to a court.

Mediation is free for consumers.

It obeys to rules of confidentiality.

The mediator is independent.

The mediation period is relatively short.
